Context
Large health organisations need clear measures, new functions and coordination across clinical, corporate and national stakeholders.
My contribution
- Developed PHCC’s key performance indicator (KPI) framework and implemented its Corporate Balanced Scorecard, linking strategic objectives to measures and performance review.
- Led the initial development of the Ministry of Public Health’s Health Information Center, including information governance, analytics, workforce design and a clinical-coding workforce RFP.
- Developed the Corporate Performance Management framework and function request for proposals (RFP).
- Authored the Change Management & Transformation RFP for National Health Insurance (NHI).
- Supported national e-Appointment and e-Referral coordination, and led PHCC inputs and Needs Assessment coordination for its five-centre public-private partnership (PPP) initiative.

- Led the Oracle Fusion Cloud general ledger and subledger implementation programme.
- Coordinated daily integrations with Flexcube and T24 core banking systems.

Context
Growing a financial-services venture requires the operating discipline to support product development, partnerships and capital.
My contribution
- Owned operating processes, budgeting, cash forecasting, management accounts and payment approvals.
- Worked with the CFO on financial reporting, capital allocation and governance.
- Held a regulated Key Individual role, with responsibilities spanning compliance, partnerships and people.
- Managed private investment operations through Ntwadumela Property Investments, including financial models, investor reporting and construction-linked drawdowns.

As Principal, ran and signed off a ZAR 10 million capital call for a Johannesburg CBD apartment conversion. Prepared investor notices and waterfall models, and used a pre-arranged bridge to protect a contractor milestone when an overseas contribution faced an exchange-control delay. The contribution cleared within 72 hours and the bridge was repaid.

Served as lead financial advisor to the consortium led by the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) on the acquisition of Anglo American’s 74% interest in Scaw Metals. The USD 440 million transaction was South Africa’s largest Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) deal of the year.
Renewable energy & PPPs
- Structured debt and equity through special-purpose vehicles for utility-scale independent power producers under South Africa’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP).
- Coordinated consortium partners and memoranda of understanding involving Mainstream Renewable Power for Saudi renewable-energy opportunities.
- Earlier PPP work included QDB SME participation and the financial evaluation of healthcare PPP proposals and resourcing requirements.

Purpose
Translate a complex financial activity into repeatable workflows, clear controls and feedback loops, with human judgment and approval throughout.
What I built
- Decision rules, evidence checks, a risk calculator and pre-trade approval gates.
- Daily desk routines, trading journals and weekly reviews, supported by version-controlled procedures.
- Engineered a proprietary, ultra-low-latency execution bridge that translates complex charting logic into real-time programmatic orders via the MT4 API.
